Nathan's acquires the Wetsons hamburger chain, which comprised approximately 70 locations in the greater New York metropolitan area. Many Wetsons were soon converted to become small Nathan's restaurants.

Our son is named Nathan and he loves hotdogs. We were recently on a trip in Florida, when he spotted his name on the package of hotdogs. He thought it was pretty cool that his name was on a package of hotdogs. He was so excited that we couldn't leave the store without buying a package of them. We tried them and we are now hooked on them!
